Square-Enix has said that there will be limited edition, but it will be exclusive to their online store. It likely won't be available for sale at regular retail outlets. No details have been released, but news is expected to drop during Square-Enix's E3 info stream on Monday June 11th.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are two special editions for DQ9: the Edition of Lost Time (think of it as the collectors edition) and the Edition of Light (essentially the Day 1 edition). The EoLT version will contain a two-disc orchestrated soundtrack, steelbook case, 128-page artbook, a cloth map of Erdrea, and an additional set of DLC items.
