“Does this enclosure work with a SSD? it says hard drive, not whether it has to be a hard disk drive or a solid state drive. Will it work with an SSD?”

• It doesnt work with SSD. I tried and failed.

• Yes, it is designed to work with SATA drives, so it would be compatible with an SSD drive. Best Buy Mobile and Connectivity Specialist, Kraig

• It doest work. I bought it thinking it will. I just put mine in it and it doest work. My computer tells me that it is install but I cant find it anywhere after that

• You will need to purchase an SSD enclosure. The connections are different.
