• If you are trying to recover information from a hard drive of an old computer, the DX-HD303513 isn't meant for that purpose. It is meant to install a hard drive into the enclosure and then format that hard drive, which erase all data currently on the drive, to be used as a backup. Make sure the hard drive is installed properly in the enclosure. Make sure the power cable and the USB cable are connected securely and then look in My Computer for the connected drive.
