- Answer I'd assume yes. I have an old gopro which actually might be the hero 3, I also bought the new session hd. The mount connectionso are exactly the same. All the accessories work with both cameras.

- Answer I would recommend using an adhesive mount found in this kit that you can attach to your helmet rather than the strap.

- Answer I would use the clamp to attach it to something stable. I wouldn't trust the suction cup, especially if the car is going to be moving. There's always a risk that it could fall off.
