QuestionTV and Hearing aid streaming deviceI have a ReSound Unite TV device that streams the sound from a TV to my hearing aids. I recently purchased a new Sony TV that does not have the RCA type audio out connection on the back of the TV and only has an optical audio output. Will this device provide the proper alternate connection? Do I need a separate audio cable to connect the device to the TV that is not included?

- Answer I see no reason you couldn't use this for your hearing aids if those aids have RCA connectors. It comes with a TSO Link cable. I will tell you in advance there is a slight 25-30 millisecond delay induced as part of the physical audio translation but you probably won't sense it.

QuestionIn out Rumble Noise from Receivers SpeakersI just purchased a LG tv model 55LB5550, trying to hook up my old Sony Receiver STRV200 by using the Dynex DX-SF110 converter. I've entered the LG Tv settings to find the "PCM Option" to no avail. I double...... if not triple check my audio cord placements to the receiver from the Optical/Coaxial Converter, finally the Tv. Am I using the wrong converter??? Or where the hey is this PCM Option if available from this LG Tv? Thank u for your time

- Answer From your general description, it does sound like this adapter is what you're needing. If you are not seeing any audio settings regarding PCM/RAW you might need to contact LG support for detail regarding their menu.

QuestionTV CompatibilityMy TV has a Coaxial and a headset output. I want to connect a set of headphones to the television. If I use the headphone jack, the tv's internal speakers are cut off. I was thinking of using the coaxial output and connect the headphones through the audio converter so that I could still use the internal speakers of the tv. Will this work?

- Answer This very well may work, it will depend on if using Digital Coaxial will cause your TV to disable the built in speakers.

Questioncan i buy a part for this broken co axial cable connector?my stepson broke the input co axial cable to monitor connection off the mother board can I have this repaired or buy the part and re solder it myself? the model # dx32L100a-13 120v-60hz 90w

- Answer Probably best to replace the unit as a cold solder can cause introduce interference to the signal.

QuestionCan this devise handle sources encoded with Dolby digital?I found another manufacturer who's devise can't decode anything more complex than stereo. They sell two models: one that can decode Dolby and the other that can't.
