“TV Compatibility My TV has a Coaxial and a headset output. I want to connect a set of headphones to the television. If I use the headphone jack, the tv's internal speakers are cut off. I was thinking of using the coaxial output and connect the headphones through the audio converter so that I could still use the internal speakers of the tv. Will this work?”

This very well may work, it will depend on if using Digital Coaxial will cause your TV to disable the built in speakers.
