• This is a card reader, not a flash drive. You would need an SD or microSD to plug into the card reader. That card would determine the capacity.

• No, it is not a flash drive, thumb drive or whatever name they are given. It is only an adapter for SD and micro SD cards like are found in cameras.

• No, this reads SD cards, mini, micro, etc. I assume if you leave the SD card plugged into this adapter it would work as a thumb drive.

• This is a very versatile flash drive. It can be what ever size you want it to be. You can use the following media cards SD, SDHC, SDXC and microSD formats. I use a 32GB SDHC card in mine mostly and this way I can transfer data from this device to the 32GB SDHC card in my PC card reader.
