QuestionInstallI bought this USB microphone for my fiance who lives abroad. I gave her my old Dell computer, and the microphone, must be going out.I can't hear my fiance, but she can hear me.I bought this at Best Buy, and the sales lady told me if that is the case; more likely the audio is going out (not the driver) she said. So according what she described, I guess she can just plug into her computer, and it automatically takes over, make it like a default, is this correct?

Questionthe mic doesnt work on my work pc but it does on my personal. it connects and registers as a device, but audio input isnt received... what's the issue?

Question"This device cannot start. (code 10)Yes, the power is on. Yes, the volume is up. Yes, the blue light on the cord is lit up. Even so, my Windows 7 PC simply does not recognize it. I went into Control Panel >Sound >Manage Audio Devices >Recording. I see "FrontMic" but it thinks it's a Realtek product (my external speakers are Realtek) and it has a little red arrow in the circle beside the icon of a desktop microphone. Then I went through the device manager. It's there, but when I right-click on Properties, I get the error code "This device cannot start. (code 10). I can choose "search for drivers", and it does, but it searches and searches endlessly and finds nothing.

QuestionDynex Microphone will not work in-game.I'm trying to use this microphone as a temporary gaming microphone but ever since i picked it up its caused nothing but problems. It will work on programs such as team speak and skype but wont work in game.

- Answer If the Microphone is working on the computer it is functioning, you may need to make adjustments in the game audio settings to allow the microphone to function with that particular program.

QuestionIs this Omni directional?Want to use for one of our members to join meeting via Skype and hear all of the other members. The description does not state it is Omni. The laptop mic doesn't pick up unless you're directly facing the screen.

- Answer Did you click the mic on {there is a switch on the base of the microphone stand} - and/or set it as default in the Control Panel/Speakers or Devices {depending on what program you are using}?

- Answer This mic is plug and play. It installs automatically and should work as soon as plugged in. All of the drivers are installed automatically when you plug it in. OS X will install the drivers automatically once you plug it in.

- Answer I use Vista. No specific software needed. You can converse with others. I used it for a webinar, it worked. I am not knowledgeable about Minecraft.

QuestionDevice shows as "Unspecified Device" under Windows 7The microphone works perfectly but within Windows 7 Devices and Printers the Dynex 5370 is labeled Unspecified Device. Again, it works and works well but why "Unspecified?"

- Answer The DX-USBMIC13 shows up as unspecified device because it simply uses the default HID drivers that are built-in to the operating system.

QuestionMicrophone stopped workingI connected the mike to my Apple mac through USB Port and it works very well for writing texl. I then tried placing a digital recorder in front of the mike to see if I could convert those messages into written text. For some reason, the Mike went dead and the blue light started flashing. I have n been unable to get the mike to work. Despite all my efforts to blue light is still flashing.

- Answer It sounds like the mic has failed. The most obvious things to try are to leave it unplugged for at least 30 seconds and to try it in a different USB port on your computer. If it continues flashing, then only other thing to try is to plug it into a different computer and try on it. If it still doesn't work, then I would recommend calling us at 800-305-2204 to check on the warranty status.
