• I use the Dyson fan in my room and the fan is about 5 feet from my bed. This fan is so quiet you can hardly hear it. I have been using this fan for 3 years with no problems. Going to buy one for a Christmas present. Highly recommend this fan/heater.

• To me it is great because it is much quieter than a regular fan.

• I do not like noise from fans but this one is very quiet at low speeds. At upper speeds some noise but reasonable and much quieter than a fan with blades.
