Hi Holly, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our Cinetic Big Ball Total Clean upright vacuum cleaner does not have a light on the front of the cleaner head. Dyson vacuums have never included a light on the machine itself, as we find most of our owners do clean during the day - or are able to utilize lights at home to clean properly around their home.
