Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Sydney, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to hear that your older Dyson is not working with your thicker, plush carpeting. You may wish to check with your carpeting manufacturer to see what their recommendation is, as some do not recommend using higher suction machines, such as Dyson's. With all of our uprights, you can turn the brush bar on/off which can sometimes help with pushing the machine. The Cinetic Big Ball Total Clean provides 180 air watts of suction which isn't as strong as the Ball Animal 2 (which has 270 air watts of suction), so that may be a good option for you.
