Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. This home cleaning kit features the older style tools with the gray release tab, while your Dyson CY22 canister features our red-tab quick release tools. You can use this kit with your machine, but would require the use of an adaptor, to fit between the tool and your machine's wand/hose. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
