Q: QuestionI have a Dyson V7 and a Home Cleaning Kit. The box says it works with all Dyson’s so what do I need to make it work with mine?

• A:Answer Hello Jess, This is Miella from Dyson. While the Home Cleaning Kit was engineered before the Dyson V7™ cordless was engineered. The V7™ machine has a Quick Release (QR) connector. This home cleaning kit features the older style tools with the gray release tab, while your Dyson CY22 canister features our red-tab quick release tools. Q: QuestionI just received a Dyson Home Cleaning Kit. On the box it says “fits all Dyson vacuums,” but the attachments do not fit our Dyson Big Ball Multifloor. Will these attachments work?

• A:Answer Hi Jon, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Big Ball Multifloor vacuum will use the quick release tools with the red tab. If you have tools with the gray tab, you can still use them on your machine, but you would need to use an adaptor, between the tool and your machine. Most Dyson retailers that carry tools and accessories should also carry the adaptor. If you cannot locate that, you can purchase it direct from Dyson. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
