- Answer I looked up the battery on Dyson site, is very expensive at this point ($129). So I would wait until price of battery drops, and/or the unit has been on the market longer

QuestionIs this a good solution for stairs? How well would it handle the crevices at the back of each step?

Questiondoes this come with a lithium ion battery? Is the battery replaceable? I would like to know the AIR WATTS which reflects how powerful the suction of this machine is. Air watts and watts are entirely different.

QuestionIs the vacuum loud or silent? I have a small dog that barks when I turn on my current vacuum and tries to bite it. My pet literally attacks the vacuum because of the noise.

- Answer It's fairly quiet compared to others that we have bought. I think dogs bark at the pitch of the noise more than the loudness.

QuestionIs the Humdinger still based on the V7. I see every part for this one is backordered on the Dyson web site and I like to keep a spare battery. I have V7 spares, will these fit?

- Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The parts for the V7 and the new Humdinger are not the same size or compatible with one another. There aren't spare parts available for the Humdinger yet as the machine was just released. You can sign up for email notifications on the Dyson website if you desire. - Answer Hi Kat, this is Kelly with Dyson. Any tools for our other cord-free machines, (V7, V8, V10, V11 and V15) would attach to the Humdinger. You'll need to look for the tools/attachments with the red latch. Older model tools or tools from our corded uprights/canisters would not work. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
