  • QuestionCan I use it with cord if the battery run off?

    Asked by Wesam.

    • Answer Hello Wesam, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V11 Torque Drive, along with our other cord-free models, are not intended to be used while connected to the cord. You can pull the trigger, but the machine will not run while its plugged in and charging. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

  • QuestionWhat is difference between V11 Animal and V11 Torque Drive?

    Asked by Mikey.

    • Answer Hello Mikey, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11™ Torque Drive and V11™ Animal vacuums are very similar. Both will offer the same run time and suction power. The cleaner head features an integrated digital motor which spins the brush bar up to 60 times a second. It drives stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet to remove dirt, and carbon fiber filaments capture fine dust on hard floors. Both machines offer three cleaning modes for a variety of household tasks, so you'll have the right balance of power and run time where you need it. The V11™ Torque Drive has an advanced LCD screen display which monitors system performance 8,000 times a second, then reports back in real time. You'll receive notifications of blockages, have a real-time countdown mode alerting you to remaining battery life in the mode you're using, and you'll also see filter alerts, letting you know it's time to clean your filter. On the V11™ Animal model, the display is an LED and will allow you to switch between your 3 power models: Eco, Auto and Boost. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

  • QuestionWhat is the difference between the V11 Torque and the V11 Animal vacuum?

    Asked by CFG34.

    • Answer You get the same smart technology and power on both machines. On the Torque Drive, you get the numerical display which tells you how many minutes you have left at each power level, and you get one extra brush. On the v11 animal, there are bar indicators which indicate the proportion of time you have left (if the bars are long, you have lots of battery power left, if the bars are short, you will need to recharge soon). You get one less brush than the v11 Torque Drive.

  • QuestionHow long to charge this vac....also, does it handle omg hair without getting stuck in roller

    Asked by Punky.

    • Answer Hello Punky, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11 Torque Drive cord-free vacuum charges in 4.5 hours from a completely depleted battery, to a full charge. While the vacuum can pick up pet and human hair, we do recommend regular maintenance of the brush bar, which includes removal of any hair. Left to accumulate, it could potentially cause issues with the brush being able to spin properly. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

  • QuestionDoes this model (371020-01) have a clickable- ie removable- battery?

    Asked by Dysonlover.

    • Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. It appears that this is an SV14 style main body, so it would have the battery that screws in to place. There is no difference in performance, and you will still get 60 minutes of run time. The only difference is how the battery attaches to the unit. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
