This model have the extra attachments for carpets so it is good for basically all floors and it really works well with carpet!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine came with two attachments - one for hardwood and one for carpet. Both work great!! The only things I do not like so much so far are 1) It doesn't hold much dirt without emptying; 2) unless I am doing something wrong, there is no place to store the extra tools. (If someone knows the secret, let me know please.) But mine works great on carpet and hardwood. For me, it is also mostly about weight and I can handle it easily.
