Hi Iris! The difference between these two is the power of the brush roll. The both have HEPA filtration post-motor. However, the brush roll power is different. On the v6 HEPA, it has a non-motorized brush roll that collects less debris from carpet. One the Total Clean, it has motorized brushes that clean better on tile & carpet. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the Hepa is post motor. It works exceedingly well. I vacuumed diatomaceous earth with it and had no issues. I wouldnt recommend doing that without a hepa filter. I believe the Hepa filter is the only difference. I havent used the total clean, but I'd recommend this v6 hepa. I love my new vacuum. Had her a cpl weeks and I don't know how I did without her.
