QuestionI hear the deeper voices of men fairly well, but while I do hear the vice higher voices of women, I can't tell what they are saying. Is this hearing aid good for that or is it just to make sounds louder?

- Answer Eargo hearing devices are designed to help people with mild to moderate hearing loss, especially those experiencing difficulty with clarity of speech. It is not simply an amplified that makes all sounds louder. Men's voices are lower in pitch so they can generally be easier to understand for people with mild to moderate loss. Women's and children's voices are higher in pitch which typically are more problematic. There is a unique noise reduction circuit that helps make speech cues more audible over the background noise. Best Buy provides a 60-day trial period to test Eargo 6 hearing devices in your unique surroundings. If they don't provide the benefit you're looking for you can return them for a full refund.

- Answer Most Eargo customers, as do hearing aid wearers who use completely-in-the-canal type style, replace their devices every few years. Eargo updates their technology every 12-16 months and frequently provides upgrade discounts. Technology changes rapidly and Eargo is constantly in an innovation state.
