“Will the Eco4's Alexa work with the Ecobee3 lite? I have a 2 ac unit w/ 2 separate thermostats upstairs & dwnstrs. If I get the 4, can it control the 3lite via Alexa from the 4? Will it communicate? I dont think I need 2 Eco4s with Alexa if the 3lite ok”

I have also installed one Eco4 and yes it can work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure if you still need an answer, but the Ecobee 3 lite should work just fine with the voice control on the 4. The 4 and 3 won't work together to optimally cool - each will have their own set programs and sensor networks that work independently. You could use the voice control on the 4 to have Alexa change the downstairs programming.
