Does escobee4 work with google home null

Not well, it works with it but the temperature is lost in communication with the ecobee, let's say I request "OK google set main floor to 78 degrees heat" it will reapet "OK setting up the main floor to 78 degrees" and then change the temperature to 69 - 88 (69 heat 88 cool).
