• A:Answer Yes. I use one unit has a router and have 2 other units, one upstairs and another in the living room. The Router is in the master bedroom and connected to cspire 2gig fiber.

The eero Max 7 supports 1 VLAN tag on the ISP "WAN" side.If your Internet Service Provider (like certain fiber companies) requires a specific VLAN ID (e.g., VLAN 201 or VLAN 10) to even get an internet connection, you can enter that code during setup. --The eero Max 7 does NOT support multiple VLANs for your internal home network. Unlike professional or high-end "prosumer" gear (like Ubiquiti or TP-Link Omada), you cannot create 5 different Wi-Fi names and assign each one to a different VLAN (e.g., one for IoT devices, one for kids, one for work). You get a single Guest Network. This is a pre-configured, isolated segment that lets people use the internet without seeing your private files or printers. Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionWhat’s the difference of the eero max and eero pro? I have a 7000 sq ft home and a 25,000 sq lot so our back yard is huge and we need outside coverage as well. Looking for enough to support inside and outside.

A few of the key differences between the Eero 7 Pro and Max units are that there are 4 ethernet ports on each Eero 7 Max, the Max covers 7500 feet while the Pro covers 6000, and the Max supports download speeds of 9.4 Gbps while the Pro supports up to 4.7 Gbps. These units should extend Wi-Fi coverage outside as well but if coverage is not sufficient Eero also makes an outdoor model perfect for withstanding weather. • A:Answer Hello Truthbetold! All eero models will work with all other eero models. Using the older eero with newer eero will not hamper the performance of the newer eero. You would want to use the older eero on the outer edges of the network, have the more powerful eero in the center. I hope this information helps, have a great day!

• A:Answer They are separate. router/modem is for getting service and this makes the whole wifi system. Some modem comes with wifi but limited on speed or range.
