However, eero does offer a separate model called the eero PoE 7, which is specifically designed with PoE+ support and includes one 10 GbE PoE+ port. If PoE capability is important for your setup, you may want to consider the eero PoE 7 or eero Outdoor 7 models instead, as they are designed to be powered via PoE+

• A:Answer Hi Cesar! The eero app will walk you through setup at your home, and you'll have a few options right away when connecting to an existing router. One option, like you suggested, would be to set it up as it's own network with it's own SSID and security. This is referred to as Double NAT-ing, and the eero app can walk you through the process but the big thing is to remember to plug into your router and not your modem.
