Yes, what you're seeing is actually totally normal for many front-load washers. ✅ Wash Cycle – Water at the Back of the Drum. During the main wash cycle, water usually enters from the back or top rear of the drum. This is where detergent gets mixed in and the washer begins agitating the clothes. ✅ Rinse Cycle – Water from the Front Cascade (above the door) During the rinse cycle, water often flows through a “cascade” or waterfall inlet at the front/top of the drum, just above the door. This design helps rinse detergent residue off the door and clothes and improves overall rinse performance. This dual-water-entry design helps distribute water more effectively during different phases of the cycle. Electrolux uses it to improve wash and rinse performance while being efficient with water and energy. - Jessica

  • QuestionThis question was asked a number of times, but no clear answer. Where is the access door to filter or how to get to the washer filter? If you provide pdf/manuals, then what page is the instructions and pictures on? nothing is shown on the Use/Care guide

The reason why the lint filter cannot be accessed is because this unit has a built-in drain pump with the filter in it. The washer was designed to not have an accessible lint filter, and therefore, mainly, it's not stated on how to access, clean, or troubleshoot it in the Care & Use manual. To view the drain pump assembly, please check out this part manual and go to page 7: Motor/Tub, look for 35 # 5304505209 Drain Pump, assembly, IDB, w/filter, and locate it on the diagram on page 6. https://na2.electroluxmedia.com/Original/Electrolux/Electrolux%20Assets/Document/Parts%20Manual/5995736062.pdf We hope this information helps! ~Juan
