QuestionI bought this washer with matching dryer from another seller and they installed it with a hard vent in the back, so they are about a foot from the wall. I assume Best Buy can use a flexible dryer vent so the units are close to the wall? Love the washer!

The leveling legs are located near the corners of the base, approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) inward from each side. QuestionIt's common for front-loaders to have mold issues from water trapped inside. Some newer models have a drain feature on the front to reduce this. I do not see that feature on this machine. How does this machine deal with standing water?

Just so you know, mold and mildew are common with front load units and our units are not designed with gasket drains--we recommend wiping off the gasket after standard use to avoid build-up and to run a cleaning cycle on the unit every 30 days to prevent build-up. - Answer That's a great question, Arlene! According to the use and care guide, it is normal to have water left in the fold of the flexible gasket. We would recommend after each wash cycle to dry the inside and around the gasket fold with a clean dry towel. Please do not leave the door ajar when there are small children or pets around as this could be a danger. If there aren't any children around, you may leave the door open to prevent odor build-up. You may locate these details on pages 32 and 47 of the manual. -Katrina
