Q: QuestionWhere is the WASHING MACHINE FILTER LOCATED, and is it ONLY able to be cleaned out from pet hair and other substances, by an authorized serviceman ($$$)?
Asked by Emygal.
This question was asked about the related product: Electrolux - Laundry Tower Single Unit Front Load 4.4 Cu. Ft. Washer & 8 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer - White
- A:Answer Page 67 has only the infor for the dryer NOT THE WASHER. It looks like to clean the filter of the washer you need to call a serviceperson . Cleaning the filter is routine maintenance. The filter looks like its in the back of the machine . How the heck does one access if in a closet/cubby as most are? Jessica, you say "typically" has the filter clean in the front in your answer which is evasive as it leads one to believe some do some don't. The filter in the back panel only accessible by a service person does not make any sense. Please explain

Q: QuestionIf either the washer or dryer breaks and in not fixable do I have to buy a new washer & dryer or just the unit that broke?
Asked by IndividualReplace.
- A:Answer Hello individualReplace, Thank you for reaching out to us and for bringing this to our attention! Please know that If either the washer or dryer in your Electrolux Laundry Tower Single Unit breaks and is not fixable, you don’t necessarily have to replace the entire unit. The Laundry Tower is designed as a fully integrated vertical layout, featuring a full-sized washer at the bottom and a full-sized dryer on top, with an easy-to-reach control panel in the middle. Here are your options: Replace the Broken Unit: If only the washer or dryer is malfunctioning, you can replace the specific unit that broke. This way, you maintain the stacked design and save space. Replace the Entire Laundry Tower: Alternatively, you can choose to replace the entire laundry Tower unit. Keep in mind that this option involves replacing both the washer and dryer, even if only one of them is faulty. Ultimately, the decision depends on your preference, budget, and whether you want to keep the integrated design. If you opt for a new unit, consider the Electrolux 600 Series Laundry Tower™ Single Unit with its spacious washer (4.5 cu. ft.) and dryer (8.0 cu. ft.) capacities, along with features like SmartBoost Technology, Perfect Steam Option, and more. Happy laundry days! - Owen

Q: QuestionNo mater what I set the water temperature to, the washer uses hot water. How do I change this?
Asked by Stacy80.
This question was asked about the related product: Electrolux - Laundry Tower Single Unit Front Load 4.4 Cu. Ft. Washer & 8 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer - White
- A:Answer Thank you for reaching out regarding your Electrolux Laundry Tower with the 4.4 cu. ft. Front Load Washer. We understand how concerning it can be when the water temperature does not match your selected setting. If the washer is using hot water no matter which temperature you choose, please check the following: 1. Verify hose connections Ensure the hot and cold water hoses are connected to the correct inlets on the back of the washer. Reversed connections will cause the washer to fill with the wrong temperature. 2. Confirm both water supply valves are fully open If the cold-water valve is closed or partially closed, the washer will rely on hot water only. 3. Inspect hoses for kinks or blockages Restricted cold-water flow can prevent proper temperature mixing. 4. Perform a cold-water test Select a cycle that uses cold water only (such as Rinse & Spin). If hot water still enters the washer, the cold inlet valve may require servicing. - Jessica

Q: QuestionWhat is the height of the outlet for dryer vent?
Asked by Roberto.
This question was asked about the related product: Electrolux - Laundry Tower Single Unit Front Load 4.4 Cu. Ft. Washer & 8 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer - White
- A:Answer Hi Roberto! I could not find a published spec showing the exact height of the dryer‑vent outlet (i.e., the distance from the floor to the vent collar) for the Electrolux Laundry Tower Single Unit Front Load 4.4 Cu. Ft Washer & 8 Cu. Ft Electric Dryer (model ELTE7300AW). What is available: - Overall height of the unit is 76¼ inches. - Width: 27″; Depth: 32″. - The spec sheet simply lists “Ventilation Type: Vented” but does not give the location height of the vent outlet. Recommendation: Since the vent outlet height is critical for fitting into your space, I suggest one of the following: - Measure the rough‑in where the unit will go (wall or floor) and allow some vertical flexibility since the actual vent collar on the dryer may be several inches off the back and not purely flush. - Contact the manufacturer (Electrolux) or check the full installation guide/kit for the model; sometimes that detail appears in the installer manual rather than the consumer spec sheet. - When installing, plan for typical clearances: many stacked units place the vent collar behind the dryer top section at roughly mid‑height of the dryer section, but this can vary; allow extra margin. - Maico
