Contact emerald and provide your model and serial number if asked along with proof of purchase if needed. Also contact best buy they may have an extended holiday return period now that we are close to the holidays.
A:Answeryes it is. about 5 lbs. you have to be sure that the basket closes. they come out great in there. you start it breast side down, cook, then flip and cook some more. We loved it!

A:AnswerI don’t recommend removing the rubber feet. I believe they help the frying process by allowing heat and air to also flow from the bottom of the basket.
Regarding them burning up-I can’t say yes or no, but I don’t think they would have installed them on the basket if their was any risk. However, my opinion only.
