A:Answer I would think not. This is not a vertical unit, and with these types of AC's, I would not tilt it sideways. There are internal components that are operating and should be sat upright for proper drainage etc.. Unless stated otherwise, units are not mean't to be tilted. If you need something for a sideways window, your best bet would be to find a sideways AC unit specifically made for that, or use a portable unit.
