This little gem works great for PNG files, but doesn't support HEIC (the Apple image format when you take pictures). So unless your pictures weren't taken by your phone then no.

Yes, you can download pictures from your Apple device to the iCobra provided you are not using iCloud, or have the iCloud download setting set to "Download and Keep Originals".
