QuestionI have used PrintMaster 8.1 for 20 years and love it! Is it discontinued? I need a disc or download for lots more, different, more current images for Windows 10. Tell/Advise me contents of any package/disc, etc. to download or buy.

- Answer I'm not surprised the company has not continued support for software that becomes too obsolete or unable to run on new operating systems, older versions are immediately discontinued when a new version comes out. (x.00 where the first number or name changes). I bought the packaged version. It does require internet to download and update if you decide to use your digital code or it has a DVD where you can install it from the disc. I usually find the packaged version on sale and with deeper discounts than a digital only copy.

QuestionIs the format of this 2020 the same as the older 18.1? I have cards saved on my computer from the 18.1 and if it is not formatted similar I may not be able to retrieve them. I have been using the Print Master card program for several years.

- Answer Had the same problem. Could not open my"old" business cards I made with the 18 version and saved on a thumb drive . They were not compatible with the new PM Platinum. Gladly I found the old disk and could download the 18 again. Now everything works. It is sad that the Broderbund Company does not make it work with older versions.

- Answer There is a key code inside the package for downloading the software if you don't have a CD drive so it is downloadable too.
