Does this battery come charged? null

No it does not takes about two hours to charge with the charger that came with my canon sl1

Yes, all the batteries purchased in store should come with an initial charge from the manufacturer. We recommend checking the battery before use at an event after purchase in case it was subjected to poor handling or damaged in transit. This is also a good time to look at how long the charge time is on the battery and test your charger to make sure it's got a full charge, but again it will have an initial charge at the time of purchase.
