- Answer I am running Solidworks 2015 in it and it works good so far, it kind of freezes a bit while manipulating large assemblies, but it's manageable. I would think it would run Mastercam just fine.

- Answer Not a chance. This laptop wasn't really made to play games and the "AMD Radeon R7" labeled as usable for casual gaming isn't really capable of many games that make significant use of a graphic processor.

- Answer This is a ready to ship model made by HP. Meaning, it cannot be customized and Windows 10 Pro can't be pre installed. You can purchase the Windows 10 Pro upgrade and do a simple upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. Takes as much time as a simple windows update.

- Answer - this would be an EXCELLENT choice for school work. It is NOT a "gamer", it will play SOME games, but high video 3d games will only work at slower frame raes.
