A:AnswerI see no reason why this laptop would not support 32 GB of memory. The memory controller is build into the chip and supports 48 bits of memory address. Much more than 32 GB. Check out this link https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/ryzen_5/2500u it does show 32 GB memory support.
A:AnswerThank you for your question! There is not a particular model of RAM which HP uses. Only a part number for ram which is compatible. The Part Number for 8-GB, SODIMM, DDR4-2400, 1.2-V RAM is 862398-855 while 4-GB, SODIMM, DDR4-2400, 1.2-V is 862397-855
A:AnswerYou are correct that WiDi is an Intel property however WiDi was discontinued by Intel in 2015. This was due in part to Windows 8 (and now Windows 10) having native capabilities to stream your display wirelessly. As a result, this computer does have the ability to stream its display wirelessly to another device as long as the receiving device supports the current standard, Miracast.
A:AnswerThis laptop is suitable for the average user. Build quality is good. Can't say as to the life of the device, but lately HP has been on point with build and quality of their products. The only gripe I have with the laptop is that I wish the battery would last longer. Granted it is a 15" laptop, so I don't expect it to last forever. The good thing is that you can upgrade it yourself fairly easily with special tools. So you can ditch the HDD with a super fast NVMe SSD and max out the RAM. After that, this laptop should last you a long time as I hope it does for me.
A:AnswerOffice 365 is on it but with a 30 day trial. Also had Mcaffee. Then just the standard games and Microsoft bloatware that comes on everything. I uninstalled all the useless stuff
A:AnswerNo built in CD,However you can run any CD Player off of this Laptop as long as it has a USB connection.
With the proper software it will print to all printers.
A:AnswerLasts a little over 3 hours per charge. Yes it is durable. well built.. I've seen flimsier laptops. very fast, with eight logical cores, it has no problems with running the most demanding stuff.. only thing I haven't tried is 3D CAD. but I can't imagine it would be any worse than other similarly spec'd PC's
A:AnswerThank you for your question! It is so new that I do not have any specs on it! Keep an eye on this site and it will update when the specs are posted: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05844527 The Best Buy specifications does say it has a numeric keypad though and that would be expected on a 15.6" model.
