Great question! When new products launch, companies often send out free products for reviewers to test. The only compensation they get is the ability to keep the product after testing (if it's good enough to keep). The requirements for these program entail leaving honest reviews after using it. Reviewers are not punished for leaving a negative review and are encouraged to be honest. Their participation is only impacted if they fail to review at all, not the content. Most people tend to be honest but there's always a few you can easily discount. My own typical printer experience is that every single one of them is a nightmare and ink should never be that expensive. This one solves both of those problems for me, so as long as the printer works I'll keep mine. But I wouldn't rely on just printed reviews alone but also look for youtube reviews (keeping in mind that most of them also got it for free).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. I bought my et-2760 and it's well worth the investment. I'm writing two novels at once, (I know, crazy, right?) and little printers ate me alive in cattridges trying to keep ink in them. I thought I'd go mad or broke! Or both! Seen that little mistake above in writing? I do that, hey, we all do now and then. Things like that make writing expensive-but with this printer, it's not. It's a freeing experience to be able to make boo-boos or change a scene again and again without being afraid you'll not have enough ink or be able to buy more-I mean it's FANTASTIC! I absolutely LOVE my et-2760 and I don't know who invented it but I wish I had. I can't say enough good things about mine. It's easy to set up and use, it comes with tons of ink that's a dream to fill. It scans beautifully, prints silently and ultra fast, double sided (Yea!) which saves paper. And much more-what's not to like! Hope you give it a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised because mine was certainly worth the investment. Good luck. Fire
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As a beta tester myself, I can say I would trust the reviews because I only tell what I would want to know. It gives me even more reason to be candid, as it also helps the company improve their products!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have never received any free product in exchange for a review - I paid for the Epson printer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Marketing is an important part of selling new products. There are abundance of products available in market and users already have some at home so why would someone buy or even know about a new product. That is where the free products come in useful for the companies. I agree, it is hard to trust reviews provided for a free product but consumer is not bound to leave a good review. This does not impact the user in any way or form.
