“I just got an Epson ET 2760. I was told to keep the power on to keep the ink from drying out? Is this true? If I turn the power off and don't use the printer for a while, how long will the ink last, or will it dry out?”

I'd like to know where you heard this. I don't know that it's true. I have a hard time believing that Epson would develop an ink that would dry out just sitting in the tank. I have seen nothing about this in reviews of this product. If this had occurred, be sure it would be in reviews and it would kill sales. You could always contact Epson and ask this question, though.
