I've paid around $12.00 per ink cartridge. A multipack that includes all colors and photo black goes for about $48.00. As long as the printer can find your Wi-Fi signal you should be able to print. You may need a Wi-Fi booster (like Apple Express) to strengthen the signal to reach the top floor.

As for ink prices, they are about the same as all the other brands. I still have the color cartridges that came with the printer at my original purchase, 7 months or so ago. That said, I haven't done a lot of photo printing, etc. I did have to replace the black printer after about 5 months of regular use.
