You know, I want to think I was paying around $20 -$25 for the ink which I priced before I bought this printer to ensure it was economical. But the thing is, I felt like I only got about 20 sheets printed per cartridge of ink. Because I don't print very often, there was some time laps between print jobs, and my ink would be out. Not dried out, just empty. It made me stop and think, "Wait a minute, when did I last print, and how many times have I printed over all since I bought this ink." As I said, I swear I only got 20 sheet. Then, about three years into it, one day it stopped printing between printing page two and three. The scanner still works, but I can't figure out why it won't print. Next time, I'll research how may copies a printer will print per cartridge.
