A:AnswerI have scanned different sized papers. It automatically enlarges the image to fit a standard letter sized format. If you need to, there might be a way to adjust the settings so that the image keeps the original size of the check. Either way, at least the physical scanning part will definitely work for checks.
A:AnswerI'm using it on my windows pc. I do not see any reason it will not work on a mac. Go to Epson's website for verification. I have not tried it on the macs I have.
A:AnswerRemember his is a paper scanner. It has rollers and if the thickness does not allow rolling -it probably will not scan. I have scan several dozen older photos, and sometimes I must remove the backing on the photo. I would recommend a photo scanner, (or multi scanner) it is better for this purpose.

It was easy to hook up, and took many more copies than advertised. It's the size of a slightly small breadbox. Epson probably sells one the size of a wax paper box.
