- Answer Yes, I'm using a Mac now. It is current OS, I would imagine it would work with older OS, but I haven't confirmed that personally.

- Answer PDF is the default file type for saving. The conversion to PDF is done by the Epson software running on the host machine.

- Answer Hi mcpw18, The Epson Scan 2 software included with WorkForce ES-400IIs includes an Edge Fill feature that can create a black frame around the outside of the scanned image. You can adjust the thickness of the frame in the software. Regards, Dylan - The Epson Team.

QuestionCan you put the scanned documents into individual folders so you can print out reports on each folder? Do you need separate software in order to do that? Is this a twain scanner?

QuestionI'm looking for a scanner that can scan multiple documents and then allow me to drag certain pages into files. ie 10 pages scanned, page 1-3 into file name Personnel, page 4-6 into file name Payroll.

- Answer Hello. The ES-400 II uses Epson ScanSmart software which allows you to scan multiple pages and save them separately into individual files. You can select the pages you want to be saved and create a file name when complete. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
