Hello Jackie. The ES-865 Document Scanner has a peak daily duty cycle of 7,000 sheets. This peak daily duty cycle is the highest recommended number of scanned sheets per day. For best results, we recommend not exceeding the peak daily duty cycle. These calculations are based on the maximum scanning speed and an assumed daily use time. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
