A:AnswerIt’s essentially the same. The main difference is the user screen on the 4820 is larger than the one on the 3820. I have the 4820 and my son has the 3820. Printing, scan, copy, fax are the same. It’s easier for me to use the screen because it is larger. I’m 75, he’s 45..for me the extra $30 for the larger screen is worth it.
