As far as I know, the memory is not user upgradeable. I have been surprised by how much footage stores. 3-4 days of continuous recording on 32GB of RAM. They make one with memory in the chime? Or do you mean the Home Base? I like this one so the doorbell doesn't use memory in the home base. As you shop, I suggest only getting one with continuous recording. Then, it won't be dependent upon the motion sensor alone. .
