A:AnswerI've have the same problem. In my case if you get a notification and you try to view it right away it will just sit there and buffer. To overcome this I have to wait for a few minutes before trying to view the video. I'm using an iPhone 13 so it's a new phone and not an old one. Also any video that was captured during the night will play just fine in the morning hours later. I'm thinking it's their software/hardware because I have 1G internet so there should not be any delays. Just need to wait a while. Other than that this is a nice camera!
A:AnswerUnfortunately no! Although a solar panel is advertised as bundle in the Best Buy page, it is misleading. Do not buy if you hate climbing ladders to recharge every few months. There are cheaper brands complete with solar for the same price or less. Look elsewhere.
A:AnswerThe real question is how far can your WiFi reach. Just as long as you have good signal where you want it mounted the camera will connect and work.
A:AnswerDo not purchase a 'Night Owl' Swann, or any other cheap camera for security...image quality will be blurry and unusable waste of time and money
A:AnswerEven though this camera is 2.4G my iPhone 13 and iPad Air 2 set to 5G works just fine with this camera. Must be my Netgear router that will accept both 2.4 and 5G channels. Just wanted to let ya know.
A:AnswerI don't know the "official" answer to this, but I have it aimed down a rather long driveway, and it only detects people about a 1/3 of the way down it. Past that, it doesn't trigger any notifications at all.
If I had to guess, I'd estimate that its range is somewhere around 15-20 feet.
A:AnswerRight now this camera connects using a USB C connection. The solar panel is connected by a cord (non replaceable) using a micro USB cable. I am going to buy a converter and see if that works. It should but also for every camera eufy sales they have a connecting device to cover and seal the ports for all their cameras (the non internal solar camera that's not even listed on Eufys website) does not come with a cover for the port.... which leads me to believe they want you to buy the one with the solar panel built into it rather that this one. Because if the converter does not work then well there is no option from Eufy.
I think it's good that they went with USB C but should have covered their bases for existing customers with existing Eufy products. IMHO.
