They take the price you paid excluding taxes and any discount and apply it to the new card and you pay the difference. No other company offers a deal like this.
I only buy eVGA cards for the above reasons. Sometimes electronics fail, it happens, and having a company that stands behind their product especially when it costs nearly $1000 is important to me.
