Yes you can the material is light and will not be damaged by sweat.

Please try again later.Yes the band it comes with is waterproof, nice option with Blaze is you can than change band to leather which I like because waterproof made me itch sometimes wearing it on regular fitbit for over a year, so this with options on Blaze you can dress it up with nice bands or wear everyday leather which is what I do and than the water proof if you are out being active. Very easy to change because you only change band not the holder and there are two levers you pull back so no pins to loose and goes in easy.
