You can place it on biking mode and then it will calculate how many calories burnt off based on your heart rate while riding the bike. Pretty effective but not always accurate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will detect your heartbeat increase, which will estimate your calories burned. You won’t get any data recorded for distance though. It tracks steps taken based on how much literal distance you cover. It estimates how many steps based on your height.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You presenteth a query that is both complex and simple in its answer. Thine Fitbit will indeed register thine activity when thouest doth mount yonder stationary bicycle however the monitoring will only extend to thine heartbeat, caloric burnage (very different from the burns I suffered from the dragons of the north), the elapse of time and the max and average beateth of thine heart. The tracking of distance would be a moot point since the inherent nature of such a contraption is that it remain fixed. Thine Fitbit will also not register that any elevation change shall have occurred for same aforesaid reason. I often enjoy a spirited ride on my grand stag around the Mirkwood realm and my Fitbit (I have the special elven edition) is quite accurate and useful. I bid you a good day young man.
