• If you put it on treadmill mode in your exercise options it does a pretty nice job (within 90% accuracy) as compared with the actual treadmill count. Lets say i run 3 miles at 6 mph on the treadmill. The fit bit might say i did 2.9 miles at an average of 5 mph. These adjustments can also be tweeked by adjusting your stride length in the fitbit app which may get you even closer in accuracy.
