• ECG is the English version of EKG which is German. They're both the same thing

• It's user friendly and doesn't require a subscription but if everything is normal is just says "normal sinus rhythm" Doesn't give anything beyond that. Not sure what it does if it's not normal. And it's an ECG instead of an EKG.

• It works fine and no you don’t need the membership. I’m glad my ekg comes up fine every time I use it. If you have serious heart issues please consult your doctor.
