I need a Fitbit to be able to wear while swimming....check burned calories, HR, etc.... Is there anything on the market like this? null

Fitbit doesn't have a product that can be used in water. It states its "water resistant". From my research I found a product called Misfit can be used while swimming

a fitbit is basically a pedometer which counts steps.

Fitbit is a brand that doesn't really focus on waterproof devices.

If you want a waterproof fitness tracker that you *can* wear while swimming, try the Garmin Vevofit or the Jawbone UP3.

My friend wears the fitbit flex. She said she wears it in the shower so I wonder if you could wear it swimming.

I believe that Garmin makes one for swimmers. Fitbit does not.

Not sure about Fitbit but the Garmin is waterproof and you can link it to a HR strap, so if they make one that is waterproof you should be good.

The misfit shine and flash are both water-proof but they don't do HR.
