• You need to download the app on your phone, there is a section where you can add friends.

• you need to have the app on your phone, then search for friends. I love that feature.

• You have to log into your fitbit.com account to search for groups and friends.

• you cant add friends to your fitbit charge but you can add friends thru your fitbit app so you can compete and see how many steps they did for the day or week or compete with other things like water or sleep.

• You add them through the Fitbit dashboard using the email address associated with their fitbit account.

• There;s a tab on the bottom of the app page that says Friends. The 4 options, from left to right are Dashboard, Challenges, Friends, Account.. Press the Friends icon and it can find they via Facebook or contact emails
