Your steps should count correctly, my grandmother has a bad hip and has a limp also, hers seems to work correctly.

Please try again later.There shouldn't be an issue, it uses the information you input to your profile for distance traveled, but step count is based off of body vibration and movement from impact (so if you wanted to "cheat" your step count, you can shake the device in a rythmic pattern simulated walking or running and it will count)

I've had issues with it counting steps if I was pushing a shopping cart since I am not moving my arms. If this type of product won't work for you there are apps for phones that work off of GPS that may be an alternative.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It shoukd work just fine as it goes off of an accelrometer which minitors the swing of your arm. Just adjust for your stride and you should be good.
